For several years we were on a journey to locate an education option for our children that focused on developing the "whole" child. After research we discovered the best option was to independently educate them within a home-school environment. During our journey, we began noticing the amazing growth in our children and how they viewed the world around them!
The desire to develop an educational program that focuses on true growth within the leaders of tomorrow has been in our hearts and a passion for years. Founders, Theron Snelson Jr. & Ashley Snelson are graduates of the prestigious University of Missouri - Kansas City, both holding degrees in Psychology with a emphasis in child development. With over a decade of combined years of educating, and classroom facilitation, both Theron & Ashley are proud to lead the charge in developing amazing leaders through the LFA model.
While speaking with other parents we came to realize the thirst others have for a change in how we approach education. Through prayer and preparation Leadership Faith Academy went from a "conversation in the living room" to an amazing program designed to build true World Changers in our communities! We are thrilled and completely honored to partner with families on this fantastic learning journey!
Spanish Coach ~ Coach Perla
Perla LaRue is an amazing Spanish teacher originally from Mexico where she finished her studies in accounting through which she acquired a passion for teaching. During her career, she worked as an Assistant Teacher in Algebra and tutoring for elementary level students. "I love to impart knowledge in different fun ways using creativity in all I do, aiming for the student to become a "master!" Perla is a loving wife, and mother to her two children.

Mi nombre es Perla LaRue, estoy muy entusiasmada de unirme a Leadership Faith Academy como Maestra de Español. Soy originaria de México donde terminé mis estudios de técnico en contabilidad, a través de los cuales adquirí una gran pasión por la enseñanza misma que deseo compartir. Ejercí como maestra adjunta de algebra y dando clases de regularización a nivel primaria. Me fascina impartir el conocimiento de manera diferente y divertida además de usar la creatividad en cada cosa que hago siempre tratando que el alumno supere al maestro.

Music Coach ~ Coach Dalla
Shondalla has been playing the violin for 20 years. She was in the Albany Youth Symphony Orchestra , where she was classically trained. She has performed for the Mayor of Anchorage Alaska, and various local plays and private events. Shondalla has performed in a vast number of places in the UK and Europe, Lakenheath, Bury St Edmunds, Bermingham, Sheffield, and Germany . Shondalla is currently attending Full Sail University for Music Production. She also performed for the music group, "The Hamiltones". Her music is very inspirational. She also composes her music with the help of her brothers. Shondalla's fun and energetic way of playing has attracted people all over the world. A devoted wife, mother of three boys and one fur baby, she enjoys inspiring young children who love music.

Strength & Conditioning / P.E. ~ Coach Brad
Bradley Osborn has been a strength and conditioning coach for over 20 years at both the college and high school level and have taken numerous teams to the playoffs. He has succeed by coaching winning teams at the State Championship level. three of which were in the same year at American Heritage Academy (Football, Basketball, and Baseball -Triple Crown).
Brad has his Master's in Christian Education (Sport & PE) - Baptist Bible College Clark Summit, PA. He has also been in Christian Education for over fifteen years. The greatest joy in his life is his relationship with Jesus Christ and to disciple young people in the Lord. Brad is a honoring husband, and incredible father to his four children. "I know and believe as a coach, administrator, and teacher is one of the greatest mission fields to train up young people physically, mentally, and spiritually." To be in Christian schools and to build up leaders in the Lord is a calling he believes he has on his life.

Kindergarten Coach ~ Coach Lonai
Lonai Williams received her Bachelor’s of Behavioral Science from Hardin-Simmons University and has been teaching for over 20 years. She has taught Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st and 4th grades. She has also taught Reading Recovery and has a passion for teaching children to read. She and her husband live in McKinney with their 3 children, daughter-in-law and 2 year old grandson. In her free time she enjoys reading, shopping, watching football (she is a HUGE Cowboys fan), and spending time with her family.
Art Coach ~ Coach Andre
Andre Dennis Calder is a retired military veteran. He has a long history in the field of Art. Andre has an Associates degree and two Bachelors degrees. His BA’s are in Biblical Theology and Digital Cinematography. Andre Has experience working with children and young adults mainly in the church community in the form of small groups, classes, and vacation Bible school groups. Andre has always been a trustworthy person and still maintains a government secret security clearance. As a business owner he likes to get involved in the community and inspire everyone that he is privileged to encounter on a daily basis.
